So it goes without saying that social media can be high-engagement platforms if your ideal customer is active on them and you can commit to posting on a regular basis.
Some best practices are:
Respond to comments and DMs promptly.
Make posts interactive (polls, quizzes, contests)
Talk about trending issues in your industry, so that content is valuable and not just about your products
Comment on posts that are relevant to your market
Follow people back who follow you
Consistency is key – scheduling posts can help. If you set aside an hour a week to schedule posts, it can become more manageable.
