Whenever you can, it’s a good idea to ask customers the simple question, “how did you hear about us?” Depending on your business, you can track this through your point-of-sale platform, or just on a piece of paper that sits beside the main office phone.
Other metrics that can provide you with good information as you analyze the success of your customer engagement efforts are:
Which web pages produce highest ROI
Most visited pages on website
Repeat visits to your website
Average time on pages
Click-through rates and bounce rates
Which social media posts perform the best
Number of comments on your posts
Action Steps:
Use Google Analytics to identify:
Your most visited website pages
Bounce rate (the number of visitors that leave your site after one page)
Use Facebook for Business to identify what posts perform the best for your business
