Business Smart Start

You're a dream builder, risk-taker, and creator extraordinaire.

To meet the growing demand of our region’s start-ups, we’ve created a course to walk you through what it takes to start your dream so that you start smart. Businesses that start with a solid foundation of research, planning, and setup are up to 89% more likely to remain open three years later. That’s a percentage worth betting on.

Join us on Tuesday, April 11 at 5:30 PM for our Business Smart Start Class to start putting pen to paper and get those big audacious ideas in motion.

What you'll learn and explore:

  • Validate Your Idea

  • Plan Your Path

  • Make it Legit

  • Manage Your Money

  • Operate Optimally

  • Plant the Seeds of Growth

Upon completion of Smart Start, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with an advisor to make your plans a reality.

The RRSBDC has partnered with StartUp Virginia to provide you with a scholarship worth $350 to complete the Entrepreneur Certificate. You will receive a scholarship code upon completion of Smart Start.
